Massage Therapy can be many things, from light relaxation to deep and often painful remediation of scars, contractures and shortened tissues left by surgical interventions. Most often, we're dealing with knots and triggerpoints developed by the daily grind, whether sitting at a computer for many hours or activities around the house or at the gym.

For myself, I'm on the lighter side as, after a while, you learn how to deal with these things gently but still effectively. If you like killer deep, I'm not your guy, but I can recommend some people who can help.

Carol graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2006 and became a member in good standing with the CMTO.

Always a fan of ongoing learning, she has since added several modalities to her knowledge and offerings, including energy work (as Reiki master along with 4 other energy systems), Bowen Therapy, Reflexology and newly CranioSacral Therapy, which is still in the practice stage.

Her special interest area is headaches and the sort of shoulder pain that comes from constant office work. With the CranioSacral, Carol hopes to begin treating people with post concussion problems and the long term headaches that can accompany this sort of injury.
